Biography

Ms. Teri F. Willey has been Executive Director and Fund Manager of the IU Philanthropic Venture Fund since March, 2018. She previously served as the Vice President of Technology and Business Development at Mount Sinai School Of Medicine since June, 2011. Ms. Willey served as a Managing Partner at ARCH Development Partners, L.L.C. Her professional focus was equity based deal structure in commercializing university-based bioscience. She served as Chief Executive Officer at Cambridge Enterprise Limited since 2006 until 2010. Prior to this, she served as a Vice President of Start-ups at Arch Development Corporation. She served as a Director at Rubicon Genomics, PanCel Corporation, NephRx Corporation and Cambridge Enterprise Limited. Additionally, Ms. Willey served as a Member of Advisory Board at Endocyte, Inc. and Spring Mill Venture Partners. She has extensive experience in technology commercialization stemming from performing work for the Northwestern University and Purdue University. Ms. Willey served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Biosciences Research and Commercialization Center. She served as a Member of Advisory Board at the Van Andel Research Institute. Ms. Willey is the Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers. Her work experience also includes corporate business planning and development for the Indiana Corporation for Science and Technology, and for International Minerals and Chemical. Ms. Willey majored in animal studies and veterinary science at the University of Idaho, and has an MBA from Indiana State University.
