Presenting Companies
Pitch at the Midwest Growth Capital Symposium
Presenting Company Eligibility & Selection
Companies should meet the following criteria:
- Currently seeking financing or will be seeking financing within six months of the symposium
- Seeking investment capital of at least $500,000
- Projecting meaningful revenues and traction in the next three to five years
All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of Midwest venture capitalists. Each application will be evaluated for market opportunity, product, market potential/competitors, management team and investors, financial projections, and capital needs.
The application consists of company contact information and the following documents:
- Executive summary (four-page maximum) that includes a company description, target markets, competition, milestones, management team, current investors, funding to date, financing sought, use of proceeds, five-year financial projection, and the reason an investor should invest in the company at this time
- Investor pitch deck

- Listing of company name and link on our website and in the Symposium Binder
- Digitally uploaded pitch video to be shared with attendees and investors prior to the event for maximum exposure
- Investor pitch and presentation coaching
- Profile with your executive summary and video link will showcase your business to a registered audience of venture capitalists and institutional investors
- Access to a list of all registrants.
Coaching/ Training Session
Selected companies are expected to participate in a Presentation Review Session that will be scheduled in March. The 75-minute session is designed to help presenters refine and hone their formal presentations. There is no cost for presenters to participate in the review session, which will be done virtually. Follow-up sessions are also available. Information about the review dates and the schedule will be sent to selected companies in March.
Registration Fees
The $250 company registration fee includes 3 registrations for team members to attend both days of the Midwest Growth Capital Symposium. Your company’s Executive Summary will be included in the Symposium Binder for investor and attendee review and interest.
